Jacqueline van Muijlwijk appointed Education Director Faculty of Science
As of 1 November 2017, the Executive Board appoints Prof. Jacqueline van Muijlwijk-Koezen Education Director of the Faculty of Science.

The appointment is for a period of four years (0,6 fte). Jacqueline will succeed Prof. Nico van Straalen, who is retiring.
Jacqueline van Muijlwijk-Koezen is Professor of Innovations in Human Health and Life Sciences and programme director of the bachelor’s programme Pharmaceutical Sciences and master’s programme Drug Discovery & Safety. In addition, she is a member of the department’s Management Team with portfolio education. Jacqueline is also part of the Medicinal Chemistry section, where she focusses on drug design and synthesis.
As co-coordinator, Jacqueline is involved in a number of European Projects like Oncornet and Fragnet, focusing in particular on the training aspect of Early Stage Researchers. Additionally, together with colleagues of the Learn! Academy, she helps PhD students and postdocs performing educational research in secondary education.
Prior to her current position, Jacqueline was involved in the ITS Academy, and was managing director of the Amsterdam Institute for Molecules, Medicines and Systems (AIMMS).
