AIMMS Post-graduate School Chemical Biology / Medicinal Chemistry
The AIMMS post-graduate school on Chemical Biology / Medicinal Chemistry focuses on the use of molecular approaches and chemical methodologies to tackle complex biological and medical problems, such as development of new medicines and to understand their mechaisms of actions in biological environments. The course provides an introduction to a broad range of state-of-the-art chemical biology methods in this multidisciplinary field

- pharmacodynamics - how does a drug work?
- pharmacokinetics - what does the body with the drug? (ADME-Tox)
- target finding, signal transduction, intracellular communication

- radiolabeled compounds, imaging
When? Where? How?
The AIMMS post-graduate school on Chemical Biology
- will take two days: September 21st and 22nd
- will be taught at the VU campus
- consists of lectures, case studies, and a guiding tour
For AIMMS members the course fee is part of their departmental contributions. For external PhDs and postdocs the course fee will be 250 Euro. This includes all catering and course materials. After registration, an invoice will be sent and has to be paid before start of the course. Detailed information on the programme and location will be sent after registration.
