BioMolecular Drug Analysis
In this specialization, you will be involved in the investigations of new methodologies for analysing living cells - finding the proteins associated with particular diseases or determining new biopharmaceuticals in complex biological materials. In this case the availability of fast and accurate methods is a necessity, such as those taken to test for performance-enhancing drugs in sport. As a result you will be involved in the development of fully automated systems - based on both chromatography and mass spectrometry - to study interactions between biopharmaceuticals and protein (High-Throughput Screening).
